Within the framework of the Consortium «Education Alliance» (August 4, 2018) on the basis of a memorandum between Abai KazNPU and regional (city) education departments, the International Education Center «EDTECH-KZ» from March 24 to April 1, 2022, Abai KazNPU for methodologists of regional / city, district / methodical offices and centers of mastery, conducted advanced training courses on the following topics: «Improvement of methodical work in the conditions of modern technologies of management of the organization of education and updated educational content» and «Development of the state standard of compulsory education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and education in the Republic of Kazakhstan till 2025» As part of the implementation of the concept of «Organization of methodological activities in the system of additional education for children and its content» (80 hours).
The courses were conducted in the format of distance learning.
The course was attended by 119 methodologists from regional / city, district / methodical offices and centers of Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Turkestan regions and the cities of Almaty and Shymkent.
The purpose of the program is to improve the professional competence of methodologists of regional (city, district) methodical offices in the field of pedagogical approaches to the management of educational organizations and the use of innovative technologies and improve methodological work in terms of updated educational content.
Objectives of the program - to form a holistic understanding of the specifics of teaching adults in terms of andragogy, to understand the importance of effective educational technologies in the methodological support of teachers; Improving the understanding of the causes and features of changes in the regulatory content of updated educational content in terms of international research (TIMSS, PISA, ECERS-R); support students in the development of critical thinking, criteria-based assessment and reflection skills in the learning process, coaching and mentoring, Lesson Study and Action research; ensuring an understanding of the basic principles of the quality management system, the role of motivation in the formation of the managerial activity of the city (audit) methodical office, the idea of pedagogical design in self-government; formation of skills of tutoring in the field of organization and management of practices of coaching, mentoring, Lesson Study and Action research within the framework of the updated educational content paradigm; improving skills in using theoretical and practical aspects of inclusive education; Improving the psychological aspects of the work on the status of teachers, methodological support of corporate ethics.
The peculiarity of these courses is the use of different methods and technologies of organization and planning of methodical work, forms, methods, approaches to the organization of the educational process, quality criteria in the field of management, planning, implementation in education.
At the end of the course, students defended the «Methodist`s case», exchanged experiences in the field of methodical work, and held a round table.
