1.1. Containers for Waste Separation
We are installing specialized containers for glass, plastic, metal, and other inorganic materials on campus. This simplifies the waste separation process and promotes proper disposal.
1.2. Awareness Campaigns
We conduct events and initiatives aimed at raising awareness among students and staff about the importance of waste sorting. These campaigns help change attitudes towards ecology and inspire participants to take active action.
2.1. Environmental Club
The university actively supports the eco-club "Ayala," which focuses on waste recycling. The club organizes events such as clean-up and sorting days, engaging students in practical actions to improve the environmental situation.
2.2. Student Initiatives
On September 24, 2023, members of the eco-club "Ayala" from Abai KazNPU, under the guidance of N. Zhumagali and A. Altybekova, participated in the "Cleanliness" game organized by the Eurasian Club. During this environmental event, schoolchildren and students collected 644 kg of various household waste in just 1.5 hours. This event highlighted collaborative efforts to improve cleanliness and protect the environment.
Our waste partnership aims to create an effective waste management system that involves collaboration with various organizations, enterprises, and local communities. We are committed to sustainable development and environmental protection through the following key areas:
3.1. Waste Recycling: Together with our partners, we engage in the collection, sorting, and recycling of secondary materials, which helps reduce waste volume.
