On April 30, 2020, the international online conference “Green University – University of the XXI century” was held. Within the framework of the event, Professor of the Department of Geography and Ecology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai University Kulzhakhan Bakirova spoke at the plenary session, as well as at the round table dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the famous scientist, Professor Aida Beisenbayeva, with the report “The life and fate of Aida Arshabekovna Beisenbayeva is an example of sincere service to science, KazNPU named after her. Abaya and the country”.
A. A. Beisenbayeva is the pride of the national science and the Kazakh public. Former rectors of Abai Unversity Tokmukhamed Sadykov and Serik Praliev have repeatedly spoken about this in different years. At anniversaries and other celebrations of the Honored Scientist, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor of Abai Unversity, only words of gratitude for her sincere service to her chosen specialty were addressed to the culprit of the celebration.
Beisenbayeva Aida is the author of more than 200 scientific papers, including monographs, the first textbooks and text books on pedagogy in the Kazakh language. In addition, the well-known scientist and teacher was a member of the US, diss councils and many high commissions in Abai Unversity and MES RK. She was awarded Diplomas of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR, orders, and many medals. For her contribution to the development of Higher Education, she was awarded the signs “For excellent achievements in work” and “Excellent Education”.
Aida Arshabekovna Beisenbayeva would have turned 80 this year. She has trained more than ten doctors and more than 40 candidates of sciences who work in scientific institutions and universities of Kazakhstan and many countries of the world. Many of them were participants of the round table. Its main speakers represent the powerful scientific and leadership potential of Kazakh science.
All the speakers emphasized that the life and fate of A.A.Beisenbayeva is a vivid example of serving science and hernative university, where she worked all her life.
