From April 5 to 15, 2023, a workshop-school for young scientists, doctoral and masters` students continues its work at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics within the Decade of Science.
The lectures are given by the well-known Russian scientist Sergey Kabanikhin. He is an expert in the field of inverse problems in geophysics, acoustics, ecology, medicine; uncorrected and inverse problems for differential and integral equations; theory and numerical methods for solving inverse and uncorrected problems; director of the International Mathematical Center IM SB RAS, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, professor, head of the department of mathematical methods in geophysics at Novosibirsk State University, principal research fellow of the Institute of Calculus and Experimental Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has more than 220 scientific papers, 125 of which have been published in international peer-reviewed journals in the Scopus database, a Hirsch index (h-index) of 17.
The participation of Prof. Kabanikhin in the International Scientific Conference "Inverse and Uncorrected Problems in Natural Sciences", which will also be held within the Decade of Science-2023, is planned.
