On 14 March 2023, a seminar was held for students of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography on " Emergency Actions to be applied in Emergency Situations". It was organised by Serik Bakirov, Deputy Director of the Institute, and Evgeniy Saltanov, Head of the Civil defence and mobilisation department.

The main purpose of the event is to prepare students for emergencies, to give vital information on correct actions in natural disasters. The readiness of students for various situations of natural character was tested by Rashid Seitov, the head of Ruhany zhangiru Centre, and Tauekel Aknur, head of the Psychological Service Department. Also, Professor Bahadur Abdimanapov of the Department of Geography and Ecology urged young people to protect the environment with an interesting lecture and shared useful information.
