Employees of the Marketing Department together with the Career Guidance Department and the Department of International Cooperation of Abai University conducted autumn career guidance work in Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Astana while participating in international events on education and career guidance.
In Kyrgyzstan, representatives of our university took part in the VI-th International exhibition "Eurasian Education" on the Bishkek-Kara-Balta-Tokmok-Cholpon-Ata-Balykchy-Karakol route covering more than 130 schools of the country (more than 15,000 people). This exhibition was organized by the Eurasian Cooperation Organization LLC with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
More than 40 prestigious universities of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan were also represented at this event, including MGIMO, Nazarbayev University, KIMEP, BSU, BNTU, Higher School of Economics and others.
Turkmenistan took part in the international exhibition "Healthcare, education and Sports in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state". For three days, representatives of the university told the participants and guests of the event about the advantages and prestige of studying at Abai University and actively acquainted the participants of the exhibition about various training programs, living conditions of students, as well as about student life in general. Visitors could ask questions and get comprehensive information. This exhibition was visited by more than 700 potential Turkmen applicants.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by members of the Government, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, the Academy of Sciences, public organizations, educational institutions and mass media.
In Uzbekistan, representatives of Abai University took part in the international educational exhibition "Education and Profession" in the cities of Navoi and Bukhara, organized by the company "My fair" with the assistance of the Ministry of Public Education and the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan, during which they held a presentation of educational programs and student life at Abai University. More than 5,000 thousand graduates from 70 schools of two regions of the neighboring country participated in this exhibition.
During this trip to Uzbekistan, Kazakh schools of the city of Zaravshan and Kenimeh district of Navoi region, Gazli of Bukhara region were visited, where during a meeting with graduates of Kazakh schools, representatives of our university told about scholarship and quota programs of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for "kandas", step by step explained the registration and delivery for the UNT and presented educational programs of our universit
