On December 08, 2023, the head of the UNESCO Chair of Pedagogy and Teacher Training of the Abai KazNPU Zh.T. Tilekova and researcher of the chair N.Opabekov took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Spiritual values of the Great Steppe: education, culture and sport" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the university, organized by the Institute "Art, Culture and Sport".

Zh.T. Tilekova made a presentation on the topic "Implementation of sustainable development policy at Abai KazNPU", focused on the UN and UNESCO organizations, familiarized with the goals and objectives of the UNESCO chair of Pedagogy and Teacher Training of the University, and also outlined the policy of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals approved at the university, thereby arousing special interest among the faculty and students of the university.
