Today, on April 9, the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University sent humanitarian aid to residents of Kulsary, Atyrau region, affected by the flood.
In particular, on the initiative of the leadership of the University, on April 4-5, a charity fair was organized at the educational institution in order to provide assistance to flood-affected regions. The Fair was attended by university teachers, all students of the Institute and the trade union organization, which supported the charity event.
As a result, the funds collected at the charity fair were purchased as humanitarian aid, household supplies, food products, personal hygiene products and bedding, and other necessary things. All collected items and food were delivered to the city humanitarian aid reception point, which was opened in the almaly District Community Center. This aid point will send the collected humanitarian aid to Kulsary city in Atyrau region, affected by the flood.
It is our civic duty to help and support each other in such a difficult time, when the day comes to the head of the country. It should be noted that such a charity event held by our university in order to help our compatriots affected by the flood is caused by a humane desire. In such a difficult moment, it is very important to join forces and overcome difficulties together!
