The adoption of the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on ensuring the rights of women and the safety of children” and “On introducing amendments and additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on administrative offenses on ensuring the rights of women and the safety of children” are important and timely.
The problem of domestic violence in families, where children become unwitting witnesses to violence, is topical and acute. Children who have been or are being exposed to violence and cruelty in the family often have psychological problems. They are characterized by intellectual and physical underdevelopment, poor school performance, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression, which can lead to the use of drugs, alcohol and suicidal attempts. Thus, one of the most dangerous consequences of violence is suicidal behavior. At the moment, the problem of suicide in the Republic of Kazakhstan remains relevant.
These laws will help maintain physical, psychological and spiritual health, which is an important part of maintaining the health of the nation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
