On February 13, 2024, Mamyrbayev Didar, lecturer of the World History Department of the Institute of History and Law, took part in the seminar "Training for members of the Almaty City Outreach Group on the Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism".
At the event, heads of the Almaty city religious affairs departments, speakers from the Centre for Anti-Terrorist Training of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and distinguished figures from the country trained participants in methods of working with the general population and techniques for dealing with various radicalised adherents. The seminar, organised to preserve the country`s tranquillity, was held at a high level.
