On April 22, 2024, a teacher at the Department of Political Science and Social-Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law, Nurlan Amangazievich Orynbekov, in Almaty at the Academy of Civil Aviation, gave a guest lecture on the topic "Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism".
Students were told about state policy in the field of religion, the dangers of destructive religious movements and modern methods of terrorist activity. Nurlan Orynbekov called the secular structure of the state, emphasized the importance of preservation and warned of responsibility for the spread of extremist ideas. During the meeting with students, many important and topical issues were discussed. Students asked questions about information on social networks, safety rules, and how to protect themselves from the consequences of destructive religious movements and received appropriate answers.
