Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University has been implementing the Abai Honors College project in pilot mode since 2022. The goal of this program is to train qualified teachers for specialized and international schools in Kazakhstan by providing students with an additional program and a base of professional practices.
Abai Honors College is a project presented for the first time among universities in Kazakhstan, an additional education program offering unique opportunities for talented students.
During these two academic years, the Abai Honors College project has widely implemented training seminars aimed at the professional and personal growth of students, meetings with leading experts in their field, competitions, events in various other formats, and academic courses.
Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Ertai Sultan and Vice-Rector for Social Development Zhakauov Maksat presented certificates of completion of the additional program of Abai Honors College.
One of the authors of the Abai Honors College project idea, Deputy Director of the National Center for Education Development of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sh. N. Nurlanov addressed the graduates with warm wishes.
At the end of the meeting, graduates Torekeldy Aykhan, Arykbay Nuray thanked the university management and project managers D. N. Bilyalov, Sh. N. Nurlanov, M. A. Absatova for the opportunity provided under the Abai Honors College program (IRN AP19677510).
