Postdoctoral student of Abai University, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry Tileuberdi Yerbol took part in the international symposium "Frontier Symposium of Engineered Science", held in Astana on June 23-29, 2024. The symposium was held jointly by Nazarbayev University and the Engineered Science Society (USA). At the symposium, Tileuberdi Yerbol made a presentation on "Petroleum coke-based carbon materials and their electrochemical characteristics".
At the event, Tileuberdi Yerbol was awarded the Best Paper Awards certificate for his paper, “Rice Husk as a Source for Lightweight Flameless Heat-Energy Carbon Briquettes,” published last year in the Engineering Science Society’s journal, Engineered Science (the journal’s Scopus percentile is 98).
