In the 2023-2024 academic year, the II stage of the republican annual competition of research papers of students and undergraduates on 9 educational programs was held on the basis of Abai University. At the second stage, the scientific works of 52 students and undergraduates from 11 universities of the republic who passed the selection of the first stage were reviewed by an expert commission consisting of 31 people. According to the results of the competition, 10 best students and 12 undergraduates of Abai University became laureates and received diplomas of I, II, III degrees from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


On June 20, 2024, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Yertay Sultan awarded and congratulated the winners of the republican annual competition of research projects of students and undergraduates of Abai University and thanked their scientific supervisors for excellent training. The award ceremony was attended by the Director of the Science Department U.Abdigapbarova, Head of the Office of scientific and research work and training of research personnel G.Baimbetova and scientific supervisors who prepared the laureates-students and undergraduates.
