On September 9, 2025, an informative meeting was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept and to discuss the issues raised in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the people of Kazakhstan on September 8, titled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Issues and Their Resolution through Deep Digital Transformation.”

The initiative to hold the event was supported by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Medeu District of Almaty. During the meeting with students, comprehensive discussions were held on national upbringing, public order, labor values, the formation of an honest citizen, the pursuit of knowledge, as well as the prevention of crimes and offenses, including drug use, illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances, and measures of legal responsibility.

A public lecture was delivered by I.B. Masakbayev, Prosecutor of the Medeu District of Almaty, Senior Counselor of Justice; B.S. Umbetov, Prosecutor of the District Prosecutor’s Office; N.Zh. Orynbasarov, Deputy of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat, black belt holder in jiu-jitsu, Asian grappling champion, and founder of the “Sagadat Batyr” sports club; K. Islam, professional boxer, WBA FedeCaribe champion, and bronze medalist of the Beijing Olympics; Zh. Zhumabekov, professional mixed martial arts fighter and champion of the Naiza and Nomad leagues; M. Zhakauov, Vice-Rector for Social Development of the University; and Zh. Mukashev, Acting Director of the Department for Social Development and Youth Policy.

Students actively asked questions to the experts, demonstrating particular interest. Many questions were addressed to the professional boxer K. Islam, who is especially popular among young people.

The main objective of the event was to foster legal culture among youth, strengthen efforts to combat the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and cultivate a conscious and responsible generation.
