The scientific seminar «Actual problems of science» was held at the Department of General and Applied Psychology of KazNPU named after Abai. The guest of honor of the scientific seminar was a foreign scientific consultant, Professor of Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey) Yuzhel Gelishli.

The seminar was attended by doctoral students of the educational programs `8D03105 - Psychology` and `8D03117 - Clinical and Social Psychology`, as well as leading scientists of the department - Doctor of Psychology, Professor Akmaral Satova, Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, Acting Associate Professor Gulmira Nietbayeva, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Nurgul Begaliyeva.

During the scientific seminar, current trends in the development of psychological science, current problems of methodology and prospects for scientific research were discussed. The seminar was held in an atmosphere of active scientific dialogue: doctoral students had the opportunity to ask questions to Professor scientific consultant, Professor of Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey) Yuzhel Gelishli and hear valuable recommendations for their research.

The scientific seminar was a significant step in strengthening international cooperation and improving the quality of training of young scientists in the field of psychology.
