On September 28, 2023 the Department of Education, Social Work and Youth Policy in the main academic building of Abay KazNPU held a seminar "Ways to prevent drug addiction and gambling addiction" with students of the 1st year. Specialists of the treatment centre "Sober Road" - psychologist-narcologist, rehabilitologist Danilchenko Igor, specialists in the fight against drug addiction and gambling Zhalmurat Batyrkhan, Serikov Shyngys - told students about the harm of drug use and the consequences of many related diseases.
Slides and video clips against drugs and gambling were also shown. At the end of the seminar, students received answers to many questions.
