The Department of Foreign Languages of the Institute of Philology, in order to develop mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of education through cooperation, establishment of practical contacts, and support of professional and cultural activities with small comprehensive schools №227 named after A. Mustafayeva in the villages of Koktem and Kulandy №77 of the Aral district of the Kyzylorda region, established contacts and signed a bilateral memorandum.
Based on these goals, on behalf of the Department of Foreign Languages at the organization of G.R. Nurekeshova, a pilot project for schoolchildren has been implemented since last academic year in a joint format with two small comprehensive schools in the Aral district of the Kyzylorda region. Within the framework of this project, undergraduates of the specialty "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" began to conduct additional classes on "Lifelong Learning Strategies for Language Teaching" four times a week with students of the subject "English" in order to gain experience and share innovative activities.
The undergraduates conducting the classes are Ospanalieva Symbat, Suleymankulova Arailim, Imanberdi Botakoz, Ibrahimova Saule, Saulebek Arai, Zakir Kyzgaldak, Kurmangazieva Akku, Kalmuratova Aitalyn, Kamalbekova Meruert, and Nurgali Adisa.
The good initiative was welcomed not only by the school management but also by the parents of the students. This is a great help and innovation for the school, whose management has the maximum impact on students during additional classes at their knowledge level.
Additional classes are attended by 26 pupils in grades 5–9 of school №77 of the village of Kulandy and 60 pupils in grades 2–9 of school №227 of the residential complex "Koktem".
This project, requested by the school management and students, will continue its work in the future.
