On October 6-7, 2022, the “Central Asia Symposium on ICT in Education (CASIE) 2022: ICT-enabled Skills Development in Rural and Remote Areas” was held, which is organized by the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office and UNESCO partners from the Korea Educational and Research Information Service (KERIS ).
50 participants attended this meeting, which is involved representatives of ministries of education, the development sector and the private sector, international organizations and educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Kulsariyeva A.T. and Khalitova I.I. took part in the work of the Symposium from our university.
By discussing the materials of the speeches, the problems of digital learning were formulated, also their positive and negative sides were founded.
The participants of the Symposium expressed their hope that the national strategic action plans will contribute to the restoration of the educational process with the help of ICT. Furthermore, they mentioned that the transformation of education will occur in rural and remote areas of your countries by the result of the meeting.
