On October 22, 2021, an open Day was held at Abai KazNPU Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography for graduates of the educational center for preparation for the Unified National Testing in the subjects «Chemistry» and «Biology» of the city of Taldykorgan. Organizers: responsible persons of the Marketing Department of the Institute, Yerlan Birtalayev, Zhanar Zhaksibayeva.
Students are provided with information about the material and technical base of the educational institution, visited specialized classrooms and laboratories. They learned in detail about the intricacies of the profession being studied, about the possibilities of further employment.
The teacher of the «Chemistry» EP group, PhD doctoral student Kanat Sadykov told the students about the activities of the research laboratory, familiarized them with the principles of operation of chemical devices and devices (gas-liquid chromatograph, spectrophotometer, pH meter, analytical scales, thermostat, drying cabinets, muffle furnaces, etc.).
Senior teachers of the «Biology» EP group Elmira Kauynbayeva, Dinara Amanbekova demonstrated to graduates the materials collected during the field training practice in the disciplines of Botany and Zoology: insect collections, plant herbariums.
At the end of the meeting, the students received answers to many questions concerning the choice of a future profession.
