Responsible consumption and production

Ensuring the transition to sustainable consumption and production patterns

Many nations in the 21st century are confronted with the global problem of air, water, and soil pollution. The rapid growth of production and the use of traditional methods of processing raw materials are increasing the consumption of natural resources. In addition to implementing a wide range of "environmental" educational programs, the University creates and implements advanced eco-technologies. Abai University's environmental policy is aimed at the rational use of natural resources. Every year, activists collect dozens of tons of recyclable materials on the University's territory, as well as hold subbotniks and educational events.

To achieve this goal, the University is tasked with developing and implementing programs to reduce food waste through instilling in the University community a culture of rational and moderate food consumption.
